You and your colleagues are invited to join the Council for a new  workgroup discussion on "Industrial Goods Distribution in China"  on July 30th in Shanghai.

For this new discussion, the Council is pleased to invite Eric Cassagne, Supply Chain & Logistics Manager  at Schneider Electric China to share his experience.

Every factory, and to some extent every business organization, is a buyer of products which industry uses to produce the finished articles and services which the consumer demands. In China, the current distribution of industrial goods is:
- Highly fragmented and spread except with some players
- Often based on @ne show entrepreneur
- Has average to poor logistics setup and organization
- Margin and cash under pressure of manufacturer.

This workgroup will allow participants to discuss and jointly brainstorm on how manufacturers and logistics experts can take the distribution to a new level:
> Concentration of players
> Development towards the geography or / and end customer segment
> Developing a valuable and knowledge brand
> Leverage in an extensive way the logistic organization
> Increase the offer
> Rebalance the relation with Manufacturer
