You and your colleagues are invited to join the Council for a new Pharmaceutical Procurement Workgroup on June 25, 2009 in Shanghai. The workgroup will start with a networking lunch, then be followed by a group discussion.
Speaker: Dr. Christopher Hickey, China Country Director of the FDA
Since May 2008, Dr. Christopher J. Hickey has served as the Country Director for the People's Republic of China for the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). He serves as overall lead for FDA's efforts in China, and leads a staff team that will include personnel in Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou.

Why our workgroups are different?
- Unlike committees organized by the Chambers of Commerce, this workgroup series is strictly restricted to supply chain, logistics and procurement from the pharmaceutical sector.
- This workgroup series is also organized in an "informal" setting (e.g. selected quiet restaurants) as good food (and drinks) tend to foster discussion and "openness" between the participants.
Please note that this workgroup is strictly reserved to pharmaceutical industry executives. Any vendors like bankers, headhunters, 3PLs, freight forwarders, IT/software or consultants are not allowed in this workgroup discussion and will be rejected at the door.
